Revealed: Photos of Delhi gang-rape victim Nirbhaya Amanat Damini?

The 23-year-old Delhi girl who was gang-raped by six men in a Delhi bus on December 16, died in at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Saturday.

Her body was brought back to Delhi and cremated. Protests have taken place through out the country, with protesters asking for more stringent action against the rapists and better protection for women and change in the relevant laws.

The media and various websites have given the gang-rape victim different names such as India’s Daughter or Nirbhaya or Amanat or Damini. Some websites have even published photos of the victim saying that her name is Damini and that she hails from Madvara Kala village of District Baliya in Uttar Pradesh.

But we are not publishing those pictures in respect for the girl who lost her life in the brutal gang-rape and attack. Also, the authenticity of those photos cannot be verified.

May her soul rest in peace!

    8. govt should leave the culprits to public. Public can give the right judgement. They should be punished and killed to set an example which inculcates fear in such minds, so that no one dares to act so in future

    9. All the rapists should be punished publicly. At the same time, females should be restricted to provoke in public and restrictions should be imposed on all kinds of media to stop publishing provocative materials.

    10. do not say them animals, it is insult of all animals. Animals never do such things. Have u seen somewhere animals involve in gang rapes?
